Description

This rustic French pine haberdashery shop counter features a wonderful grain and rich color on its triple-planked top, complemented by canted corners at the front, finished with an attractive Ogee-style architectural moulding. Below the top, there’s a spacious shelved area with two shelves, each providing ample storage space at approximately 110cm wide by 33cm high.

Above the central shelving area, you’ll find three convenient drawers, flanked by two sets of graduated drawers, some of which conveniently include storage compartments. All drawers retain their original iron cup handles, adding to the piece’s authenticity. The front and sides are decorated with panels and sit on a stepped plinth base. It currently stands on castors, which can be easily removed, reducing the height to around 96cm.

This lovely piece of functional antique furniture from a bygone era offers multiple uses for your home, retail, or hospitality space. It’s ideal as a shop or reception counter, a bar, kitchen island, prep table, workshop or crafts bench.
