This Large Victorian leather stool was made circa 1860.
It is of a rare large size and is serpentine shaped to all its sides.
The frame is of high-grade mahogany, with the moulded apron that has a carving to the centre that joins the elegant and fine cabriole legs, that finish on the scroll toes and stand on the original castors.
We have reupholstered this wonderful stool with fine English leather hide, and then hand dyeing the leather before polishing and finishing it with our special antiquing.
You would not recognise that the leather is not original and can now go and serve for another 100 years.
