A George II period, Irish, carved mahogany tilt-top tripod supper table, Circa 1750. A superb quality table, featuring a well figured, single piece, solid mahogany top. Supported by a very well proportioned baluster stem, raised on a tripod of carved cabriole legs, with scroll carved inner arches. Extremely heavy, made with only the best early mahogany.
A very handsome, original, and high quality example table, in excellent condition and ready for use.

This table measures approximately 73 cm (28.75'') tall, and the top is 85.5 cm (33.75'') by 86 cm (33.75'').

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This table is in excellent condition, commensurate with its age, and is structurally very sound and sturdy. All original. Old marks and blemishes on the top, now well polished in. Very good colour, lovely patina, with very good wax polish. Never French polished. No obvious signs or damage or repair. Sensitively cleaned and waxed polished. Ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
