Boxed 1940 Chester Hallmarked Solid Silver Half 1/2 Pint Tankard Christening Mug

Super quality hallmarked solid silver half pint tankard, christening mug gift.
 
Holds a full half pint.
 
Chester assay office hallmark with the date letter for 1940 and the makers mark for S Blanckensee & Sons Ltd.
 
Georgian style bulbous body with a roll top rim, stepped pedestal base and C shaped handle.
 
Due to the shape it''s impossible to photograph without reflections, my apologies.
 
Stands 3 7/8 inches 9.8 cm tall, 2 5/8 inches 6.7 cm in diameter at the top rim and
 
3 3/4 inches 9.5 cm handle to rim.
 
The silver weight is 141 grams.
 
Excellent condition, no damage or repairs. Minor surface marks from age and use as you''d expect, no holes or splits.
 
Apologies for any reflections in the pictures, these are not marks in the silver.
 
No engraving to any part of the mug.
 
Original fitted box that''s in excellent condition.
