Description

A fantastic trinket/keepsake box in walnut and parquetry that dates to around 1880

In great original condition in a deep mid brown waxed finish, there is no damage or repairs to the inlay which is a bold mixed wood and ebony configuration

With a brass cartouche (blank for your own inscription) it has been relined with a period hand printed paper and comes with a working lock and key

Measures 11 1/2 inches wide, 8 1/2 inches deep and 5 1/2 inches

A really attractive box that would make a nice present for a loved one
