Small late 19th.c. Aesthetic Movement bamboo side table c.1890. Octagonal top with original lacquerwork featuring decorations of birds and flowers against a black ground. Raised on a bamboo frame and legs joined with a square stretcher shelf with original woven grass surface. Obvious wear to the top, otherwise good condition.
