Ideal as small dining or breakfast table, though equally suited as side table or occasional table.
A charming early table, full of character, in good condition and very well presented. Sensitively cleaned, waxed and now very much ready for use.
Dimensions:
This table measures approximately 77 cm (30.25'') tall, 107.5 cm (42.25'') wide leaves up, and 34 cm (13.5'') wide leaves down, 88 cm (34.75'') deep.
Condition:
Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This table is in good original condition, commensurate with its age, and is structurally sound and sturdy. The base is early c.17th and the top early c.18th. The top has marks and blemishes, including minor natural aged splits. The base is very good,
...and has appropriate aged wear. The feet are straight through and original. Some very minor historic extinct old worm holes. Now fully treated, as a matter of precaution, though do not affect the sturdiness of the table in any way. This has been through the workshop for the most delicate of services, and sensitively cleaned, waxed, and is now ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
