A Georgian Games Box - For Bezique & Piquet

This is a Georgian whitewood games box with a transfer of two children and a dog in the central pannel of the lid. The interior with its original pink lining paper is divided into sections for cards and counters. There are two sets of 32 cards from Ace -7 in each suit, to play Bezique or Piquet etc. They are made by Reynolds * sons and date to around the 1860''s. There are also a number of games counters.
 
This box measures 15cm w x 15cm d x 4.5cm h.
