N Wilson Antiques Clocks has dated this piece to the 1800s.

The top is has a nice shaped reeded molding to the edge. Below this there are four lovely graduated Serpentine fronted drawers. There is cock beading to the edge to the drawers which sets them off nicely and each of the drawers having pretty gilt brass ring handles which are beautifully detailed. The drawers have lovely fine dovetail joints as can be seen from the close up photographs. The drawers are flanked by lovely reeded detailing.

The mahogany is a lovely rich colour and wonderful grains have been used as can be seen in the photographs.
The chest is then raised on lovely splayed feet.

As can be seen from the above dimensions this chest of drawers is of lovely proportions.
