Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Art Deco perfume atomisers from the 1930s typically feature bold geometric shapes, angular cut glass designs, and stylised motifs such as sunbursts or zigzags. They often combine functional chrome-plated or enamelled metal fittings with a fabric-covered squeeze bulb and tassel.

Vintage atomisers were constructed using heavy cut or moulded lead glass, faceted crystal, chrome or silver-plated metal mountings, and hand-enamelled decorative panels. The spray mechanism utilised an internal rubber bulb encased in a braided fabric exterior, often finished with a decorative tassel.

Authentic pieces generally display geometric cut glass patterns, sharp facets, and period-accurate metal hardware such as chrome or silver plating. Check for signs of hand-finishing, vintage threading on the metal collar, and age-appropriate wear on the underside of the glass base.

Display the atomiser on a mirrored vanity tray, a marble bathroom counter, or a bedroom dressing table alongside period grooming accessories. Its strong geometric lines allow it to serve as a sculptural accent on a curated bookshelf or tray.

Clean the glass exterior using a soft microfibre cloth dampened with warm water and mild soap, avoiding harsh chemicals. Ensure internal rubber bulbs and fabric tassels are kept dry, and avoid soaking metal components to prevent tarnishing or corrosion.
