Description

Antique Walnut & Oak Framed BERGERE Armchair and dating from around 1920. Constructed from quality oak and walnut it has a high split cane back and sides set within an oak and walnut frame . It has a drop in needlework seat pad above a carved oak skirt. The armrests leading to turned barley twist supports and it is raised on turned barley twist and block leg joined by squared stretchers.

MEASURES: 36.5” HIGH X 27” DEEP X 24” WIDE & SEAT HEIGHT 17”

With a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
