Georgian Mahogany Cheveret (2 Piece) Ladies Desk

A rarity

A completely original georgian c1800 mahogany 2 piece cheveret.

These were designed by sheraton around 1800 as portable ,moveable ladies make up /jewellry stands generally found in ladies boudoirs in grand houses.

It measures 102cms h inc the bent wood handle ,45cms w and 25cms deep.

As stated completely original with no repairs/replacements.

Rarely seen nowdays in fact its 30 years since we had one.!!

It is in 2 pieces so the drawers can be easily moved to main dressing table.
