A beautiful antique Victorian pearl half-hoop ring made in Birmingham in 1891. The gallery is set with five natural pearls with a bright white lustre which contrast beautifully against a warm 18ct yellow gold gallery and band.
Pearls are the birthstone of June and a true treasure of the ocean, produced organically by fresh and saltwater molluscs. Their spherical shape and exceptional lustre have long been associated with the beauty of the moon and are symbolic of purity, serenity, and loyalty.
It’s a gorgeous Victorian ring, in excellent condition and complete with Birmingham hallmarks within the band.
