An extremely attractive 17th Century Oak wainscot Chair of very good colour. This Chair has had repairs, the crest and ear pieces have been replaced and nicely carved in the correct manner by a professional restorer, the work was probably carried out in the mid 20th century.
Despite this the chair has some very nice features such as the well shaped arms and wonderful original drop over seat with great surface and lovely creamy untouched underneath just as we like to see. Its also nice to see that the front legs have there original turned feet still in place, the back legs with an inch added to each at the base.
