Description

This is gorgeous Edwardian silver and cut glass cologne bottle in an unusual colour. The squat globular shaped body incised with starburst and hobnail cut patterns. The screw-top silver lid embossed with foliate scrolls. The neck fitted with a clear glass stopper. The inner lid gild and the base star-cut.

Hallmarks:

JG&S for John Grinsell & Sons.

Birmingham Assay Mark.

Lion Passant .

Date letter "c" for 1902

Dimensions:

Height: 12cm / 4.7 inches.

Maximum diameter: 10cm / 4 inches.

Condition:

Very good.

Glass in vey good condition.

Silver circular reserve with minor dings.

Neck in good condition.
