The exterior is beautifully adorned with a beaded border, a boiserie-style frame and an anthemion accent in the centre. The manner in which the proportion and detail have been formed very accurately as if it is just a scaled-down version of a lifesize pail makes it an immediately eye-catching piece of curiosity whether as part of a collection or sitting on a dining table.The inner sides of the silver are silver gilt which is eye-catching and serves as a nice contrast to the silver exterior. The matching pair of spoons also features a lovely anthemion design and complete the overall aesthetics of the set.
