Striking Continental Art Deco necklace featuring a long, upright glass panel with the molded image of a young woman dressed in a one-piece swimsuit, with her arms folded across her chest.
This is securely set in a silver mount which is suspended from a decorative chain, the lower part of which features green beads and decorative metal spacers.
It was thought that this necklace might be from the workshop of Bengel but, although it does show certain style similarities, we are unable to say with any confidence who might have made it. Nonetheless, it is a very eye-catching and individual looking necklace.
The glass panel is 9 cms. long and the necklace has a fully opened out length of 52 cms.
Supplied in a presentation box.
