This Pair of decorated French console tables were made circa 1910.

Each table stands on cabriole carved legs that are joined shaped cross stretchers with the flame central finial below the shaped, pierced and carved apron.

Interior decorators love pairs of console tables as they can be set in drawing rooms and hallways.

The paint has rubbed through in areas due to wear and shows the red bole, as well as some gilt remaining in places.
