Antique Waltham full hunter pocket watch, 1926.
The watch has a seven jewel grade 610 stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 25,519,361 which dates it back to 1926.
The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has a beautifully engraved retirement dedication from the Royal London Mutual Society.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold filled Moon model from the Dennison Watch Case Company, supplier of cases for Waltham UK. The case has general light surface marking, and a few little pin prick marks.
The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover.
Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition (some white reflection showing in the photos).
The signed dial is in good condition with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.

All of our watches are checked over before listing, and are also checked for accuracy which is usually within around +/- two to three minutes over 24 hours (unless otherwise stated), which is considered respectable for a vintage watch.
