Large top quality late Victorian / early Edwardian hallmarked solid silver nurses belt buckle.
Made by Lawrence Emanuel with the full Birmingham hallmark with the date letter for 1901.
Engraved silver decorated with pierce work flowers and foliage.
Large size so more than likely for a matron or midwife.
Measures 5 inches 12.7 cm wide and 2 5/8 inches 6.7 cm tall.
The silver weight is 42 grams.
Excellent condition, no damage or repairs to any part of the buckle.
Will be delivered in a tissue lined gift box.
