Superb Quality Antique Edwardian Period Oval English Silver Plated Bread Basket / Fruit Bowl ~ By Top Maker, Elkington & Co ~ Dates Exactly to 1901
There is a crest to the centre that includes the word ''castle'', the rest has rubbed with time and is hard to decipher.
Condition: In beautiful order. The silver plate is in very good/excellent, intact condition with just a little wear to the very edges of the gadrooned detail to the inner bowl. A couple of very minor dings also and a minor bend to the foot. It has been cleaned and polished and is ready to use.
Impressed to the base with the maker''s mark and name, along with the date letter for 1901. Pease see final photo.
