Mike Melody Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The large are 30cms h and medium 16cms h. They are stoneware . We have pictured the marks but cannot make them out . 2 gall is on the large jars also.

We presume they are either staffordshire or derbyshire in origin.
The lids are made of sycamore, similarly no damage.
The are variously named moist sugar, lump sugar sago, rice candied peel, and raisins.

I presume they used in the making of puddings cakes etc.
A complete rarity as these sets virtually never come on the market.
A real country house set.
