This delightful First Year of Issue Early 20th Century Vintage Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine, ''Maisie'' ~ HN 1619, decorated in a red and pink colourway was designed by leading Doulton artist, Leslie Harradine , and issued from 1934 to 1949. The underside fully marked in green with the Royal Doulton printed backstamp of the period, ''Maisie'', Rd. No.787519, { for 1933 }, in green script, Potted by Doulton & Co, HN 1619, and the now barely legible year letter 7 for 1934, indicating this to be a First Year of Issue figurine, and in black, the Painter''s monogram EL, for Tim Leigh, recorded as working at Doulton from 1930 to 1979.
