A sweet sized vintage Moorcroft vase, featuring the stunning pomegranate design on a beautiful cobalt blue background. The piece is designed and signed by William Moorcroft and produced at Burslem. The base is reassuringly signed in green and also features impressed stamped markings, Moorcroft, Made in England with the pattern and registration number, adding to its value and authenticity. Crafted using traditional pottery techniques in the early 20th century, this vase is a must have for collectors of early Moorcroft. The condition is consistent with its age, overall the vase is in good condition with some age related crazing to the base, see photo.

Designed by William Moorcroft in the early 20th century, the Pomegranate pattern became one of the manufacturers most iconic motifs, defined by tubelined fruit and foliage set against deep blue and rich terracotta grounds.
