This is an antique desk elbow chair. An English, oak office seat, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.

Appealing elbow chair, ideal for the drawing room or home office

Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout

Select oak presents fine grain interest and wisps of medullary rays

Rich caramel hues dance across the serpentine form of the armchair

Superb figuring accentuates the upper rail, above a classic lyre back rest

Arch shaped arms enclose the seat squab, with forward orientated supports

Finished with a later, mid-century faux leather cushion and adorned with press stud trim

Raised upon elongated cabriole legs, splayed at the rear, and being further united with an H-stretcher
