This antique wood wig or hat block which dates from the late 19th / early 20th century would have originally been used to make and shape hats or wigs.

This handsome head shaped wooden block is a wonderful dark brown colour and has accumulated lots of pin holes and wear over the years leaving a wonderful look.

This nice decorative display piece would be ideal for displaying hats, wigs and other headwear.

Dimensions: Circumference at widest point: 52 cm (21"). Height: 24 cm (9 1/2").

Weight: 2248 g.

Condition: Wonderful decorative antique condition with signs of use in keeping with age. The usual pin holes, splits, cracks and lots of age related wear leaving a wonderful patina and look. No woodworm.
