Description

Superb Edwardian bureau on stand complete with 2 working keys made from solid oak in excellent antique condition. This quality bureau sits on a stand with four elegant cabriole style legs which terminate in pad feet. The fall front writing surface rests on two pull out slides and opens to reveal a wonderfully fitted interior with an arrangement of different sized and shape drawers and pigeon holes with a small cupboard in the centre. The two pillars that flank the cupboard are concealed compartments with another above the door.

All the drawers inside and under the bureau run smooth, constructed with dovetail joints and have decorative brass and handles. It is a great size so doesn't take up much space however offers an ample work area and will look great in that home office.
