Description

1930s Russells Ltd Swiss pocket watch.

The watch has a nicely jewelled Swiss stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has some scratching.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Birmingham based watch case maker Aaron Dennison. Dennisons supplied various watch makers with cases. The case has a small “ding” to the edge with some rubbing around it but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The glass lens has a couple of small nibbles to the bevelled edge but otherwise it is in nice condition (some reflection showing in the photos).

The dial is signed with the name of the original retailer, Russells Ltd, 19 Church Street, Liverpool. The dial is in nice condition with original blued steel hands.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
