The Art Deco desk boasts a classic �skyscraper� design visible in the design of the stepped pedestals, with the sunken central well and recessed walnut and ebonised style plinths. The Art Deco pedestal desk, comprises a 6mm glass polished edge glass panel top, above a central storage well (useful for storing a laptop or paperwork when not in use). The glass panel top can be removed if not required. The desk structure comprises an inverted central drawer, flanked by two large drawers in each pedestal. The dovetailed drawers retain their original ebonised style handles. Condition Report:This is a fine quality antique Art Deco pedestal desk, with stunning birds eye maple detail, comprising five drawers and a glass panel top, which is 3ft 8-inches wide, circa 1930, in excellent condition. This desk has been adapted from a dressing table. The Art Deco desk has been cleaned and French polished by hand, to a professional standard, in our workshop, therefore the colour and patination are of an excellent standard.
