Silver & Ebony Two Piece Pocket Conductor's Baton in Fitted Case. 1942.

Description

This two piece pocket sized conductor's baton which is made of ebony has silver fittings which are hallmarked for 1942 and unscrews so it can be packed away in it's case for transportation.

This nice quality baton has a blank cartouche, comes in it's original blue velvet lined case and is in excellent condition.

Hallmarked: Lion for sterling silver. Leopards head for London and the date letter G for 1942. Maker's mark F.D.

Dimensions of Baton: Length: 30.5 cm (12").

Dimensions of Case: 17.5 cm (7"). Depth: 4.5 cm (1 3/4"). Height: 2.5 cm (1").

Total Weight: 102 g.

Condition: Excellent used antique condition with light signs of use in keeping with age. Some small marks and light wear. No damage or breaks.
