Materials: – The body is fine heavy Colourless, high lead content crystal from the Josephine Glass Works. The glass is adorned with Pure Silver Overlay from the Schwåbisch Gmünd silver studios of Friedrich Deusch

Description: – A very fine blue overlay glass liquor set made in the Josephinenhütte Glassworks; Circa 1925. The body is heavy Colourless, high lead content crystal with blue overlay which has been enhanced in the silver studios of Friedrich Deusch with a stunning exotic bird design, in fine silver overlay. The silver is thinly inscribed 1000/1000 to the decanter and most of the glasses.
Size & Weight: – The decanter is 27.5cm tall and weighs 1255g. The glasses are 6.5cm tall & 5cm across the rim and weigh between 105-135g each.
Condition: – The glass and and silver are in great condition without any chips, cracks, losses repairs of restoration. Obvious light surface scratches due to cleaning the silver over the past 90+ years. The engraving is still crisp. The decanter stopper has a couple of small nibbles on the base (as expected).
Photography:– The glass and silver are in excellent condition the slight colour discolouration and light spots seen on the body are made in the photography and does not represent any changes to the body colour in reality.
