A very good example of an early 19thc boxwood child''s toy called a diabolo...it was played with by holding two sticks in each hand with twine attached to each end of the sticks and then spinning the diabolo on the twine and tossing it up into the air and then catching it again on the twine...many tricks can be achieved while spinning the diabolo....it has a very good colour from years of use.... and being boxwood it has withstood many knocks and bumps, so is in very good condition.
