Antique Regency Inlaid Mahogany Marble Top Washstand with Hidden Mirror C1820

Superb Antique Regency Inlaid Mahogany Marble Top Washstand with hidden Mirror and dating from around 1820. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a Carreras marble top set within a mahogany surround and to the back there are two small knob handles which are used to pull out a sliding mirror set within a mahogany surround with dine string and the mirror being fully adjustable. To the front are two small drawers over two cabinet doors with inlaid and cross banded round all’s to the centre and with brass door divider and with original brass handles. Internally there is a single shelf. This is above three long graduating drawers all of the drawers are mahogany lined with crossbanded and satinwood edges and with original brass handles. It is raised on splayed bracket feet joined by a shaped frieze.
