A superb example of a Victorian Burr Walnut jewellery box dating back c.1880. The jewellery box is in a beautiful piece of walnut, it has a dome top and features a brass handle to the top and a brass key escutcheon with a working lock and tasselled key.
 
Open the box to reveal the original red quilted interior to the back of the box the rest of the box has been relined with a beautiful handcrafted marble paper.
 
Superb quality and condition measuring 28 x 20 and stands 15cm high.
