A good quality George III mahogany batchelor's chest of small proportions, the solid mahogany top with moulded edge above a pull out brushing slide with brass axe head pulls. The four graduated and cock beaded drawers are mahogany lined and retain the original brass escutcheons and steel locks with keys but the handles are later replacements. The chest stands on the original bracket feet with off set moulding. Dimensions:- Height…32’’/ 81cm. Width…32.5’’/ 82.5cm. Depth…19’’/ 48cm.
