Typically found in government offices or public services such as civil servant oOffices, schools, and railways, it has been meticulously restored. The oak framework has been refinished in an oak bleach colour, and all drawers are now free-running. They feature their original brass handles, beautifully aged and stamped with the Crown and 'AR' (Air Ministry). The desk's top has been finished with black faux leather, giving it a refreshed look and making it ready for everyday use.
It is indeed a piece of superb quality and a piece of British history.
