George III Antique Scottish Silver and Carnelian Vinaigrette. C.1790

Description

A scarce George III Scottish agate and silver vinaigrette. Although unmarked it is probably Scottish and made around 1790 . It has a stand away hinge and the top fits well. The interior is gilded with a beautifully engraved grill pierced in 18th century fashion. The carnelion stone is good and overall the vinaigrette is in very good condition. A great addition to any collection.
