Antique 17thc Furniture Charles 11 Small Walnut "Joyned" Gateleg Table. English C1670-80.

I just love this small Charles 11 English ''joyned'' walnut gateleg table from the 17thc....I found it at a showground fair, outside in the pouring rain at 5.00 am in the morning...looking very sad and uncared for....the dealer said to me, ''I think it is early...probably Georgian''....and I am thinking, I know exactly how early it is...and it is not Georgian..!...anyway of course I bought it and it has given me so much pleasure and many hours of careful work bringing it back to life....I was so thrilled to see , the original feet....also three 17thc handmade butterfly hinges...and then I saw the one original 17thc ''butt hinge''....the only one remaining and of course confirming the date to the last quarter of the 17thc....the wonderful quality turning on the legs...a combination of baluster, ring and bobbin turning, which go to show so well the skill of the joiner....the original stretchers all have delicate double and single scratched line moulding into the top....and then there is...
