Georgian Mahogany Double Top Games Tea Table

Description

A mid 18th century mahogany tea and card table having 2 fold over tops, one with square candle-stand corners and sunken oval counter wells with baize interior. The other having a polished interior above a single cockbeaded drawer with brass swan neck handle. The whole supported 4 tapering turned legs with pad feet and carved tops. One of the back legs opens via a gate action to support the 2 tops. Condition - Very good original patina with a later old baize and one or two old bumps and marks associated with age and use. Dimensions:- Height…29.5’’/ 75cm. Width…32.75’’/ 83cm. Depth…16.25’’/ 41cm. Open Depth…32’’/ 82cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £55.
