Description

Royal Worcester porcelain vase and cover, painted by John Stinton, dated 1912.

Finely hand painted with a scene of Highland Cattle, grazing in a misty, atmospheric Highland setting. The reverse with a mountainous landscape.

The vase moulded with dolphin shaped handles, and set upon a square pedestal foot, with canted corners.

The cover, surmounted by an acorn shaped finial.

Signed John Stinton.

Green printed factory mark, and date code for 1912 to the underside.

Height – 40.5 cm, 15 7/8”.

Width – 17.5 cm, 6 7/8”.

Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
