Gustave Colsoulle is a Belgian artist born in Bruges in 1843 and died in Antwerp in 1895. He was a painter, watercolorist and sculptor. He took courses at the academies of Ghent and Antwerp. As a painter he preferred landscapes, animals (horses) and stable scenes, among others. He has works in several museums including the Antwerp Museum. He is also mentioned in the "Lexicon of West Flemish visual artists III", BAS III. (PIRON)
