The top of the table is made from 1” thick elm planks 3 in all and is in remarkably good condition for its age, the table has sturdy slightly tapering legs
The real attraction of this table is its genuine rustic country Farmhouse look, there is a slightly dark patch in one corner where the French cook must have served dinner from her hot pot

The table is very sound as with many French pieces there are hints of wood worm it has been treated even though it has been dead for many years
This is an original French Country Farmhouse table dating from the 19th Century
The table is 96” long, 33” wide, it is 30” high and 25” under knee
