Unusual trumpet shaped collar that is a hexadecagon, sixteen sided that the sphere is set into.

Lovely tagua nut pommel grown on the elephant plant and native to South America, sitting in a silver collar with nice grain pattern and good colour.

This is mounted onto a stunning snakewood shaft which is in excellent condition.

The grain pattern is beautiful it shows better in sunlight than the pictures.

The ferrule is original and made dark red deer antler.

To buy a new snakewood cane with just a silver collar today from a quality cane maker like James Smith of London the cost would be £1950 . Snake wood is now really expensive as it''s hard to obtain.
