A lovely George V era silver mounted table mirror with clear hallmarks for Birmingham 1924 and makers mark for E Mander Ltd. The oval silver frame is 3cm deep with concave inner and outer sections either side of the highest point of the frame, so designed for maximum reflection of light. The frame houses an oval bevelled mirror. The back is solid oak, with an oak easel back. This item was made an intended as a mirror - it was not intended as a photo frame which would have a removable back. It is in remarkably good condition, very clean and clear, with no dinks or damage and it reflects the light on the face beautifully. It would make a wonderful adornment on any dressing table!
