This is a set of six William IV/early Victorian green, mouth-blown, rib-moulded finger bowls dating from the early to mid 19th century c1835.
The bowls are in excellent condition for their age. They show age related wear and tear to the rims of the bases consistent with some 180 years of use.
The bowls are cup-shaped measuring 12 cm (4.8 inches) in diameter at the rims. The bowls are vertically rib moulded and have polished out pontil marks on the bases. The bowls are 9.5 cm. (3.8 inches) in height. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious signs of restoration.
Lead glass, each weighing in at 445 g. ( ~ 1 lb.).
