Antique Mahogany Miniature Chest of Drawers

1900 - 1920
Description

A lovely miniature mahogany chest of drawers, dating from the late 19th / early 20th Century. It is a charming piece with four drawers, each with their original turned wooden knobs. The chest itself is made from mahogany and stands on a traditional plinth base. It is very well made and each drawer is beautifully made with hand-cut dovetail joints.

It is in good original condition and the mahogany has a wonderful patina. The drawers are clean and tidy and all open smoothly. There are some general signs of age and use and minor marks and light knocks but nothing detrimental. The back has been replaced at some point but overall it displays well.

The best description comes from the photos so please look at them all carefully and if you have any questions just ask.
