A grand antique amethyst bracelet from the 1920s showcasing seven deep-purple oval cut amethysts (approx. 5ct each) bezel-set in 9ct gold frames with open gate-links in between, dotted with white seed pearls.
 
Amethyst is the birthstone of February and is considered a stone of protection, clarity and tranquillity. Its deep violet colouring has been highly esteemed throughout history, adorning regal jewellery all around the world, from ancient Egypt to the British crown jewels.
 
The bracelet is held by a secure box clasp bearing the maker’s mark on the back and is fitted with a long safety chain, complete with an antique 9ct gold heart padlock charm as a token of true love and commitment.
