An attractive nursing chairs.
This chair features a highly ornate floral themed fret-work carved back complete with floral inlays to the centre of both the top and centre rail complete with stringing throughout. The chair has a upholstered seat which we have fully rebuilt from a bare frame and have finished the chair in a beautiful genuine black Chinese Silk material depicting almost shimmering colourful Silk flowers, peacocks and a dragon trimmed with a contrasting gold braid.
The chair is comfortable to sit in and the frame is solid with no loose joints or breaks. The chair stands on squared forelegs with a curved front rail and double dowel side stretcher rails for rigidity.
Please note this item is in very good condition for its age but does have some signs of wear and tear, however, we feel that these points are which adds to part of its charm and character with it being antique.
