The desk with beautiful mirror matched burr walnut with a three-quarter gallery and crossbanded outset corners above two frieze drawers with solid oak linings and original brass swan-neck handles, a foliate carved knee hole and two shorter matching drawers below. All supported on cabriole legs with shell carved knees and ball and claw feet, the sides and the back polished.
