Clockwise is delighted to present a fine eight day fusee time recorder or clocking-in clock, having just enjoyed full and sympathetic restorations performed to the case, dial and movement. Dating from 1941 and in lovely condition the oak case has a lovely patina and the front door retains its working lock and key. The brass fittings are in excellent condition and the very good dial lacks the aggressive scratching or paint loss found on so many poorer examples.
I have constructed a removeable base to allow the clock to stand securely on the floor but the two locating holes and upper bracket for wall-hanging remain.
The company history is listed in the photos and all the correct numbers are in place on the dial, case and movement so this is a genuine and authentic piece.
The four pillar eight day anchor escapement fusee movement has been fully refurbished and the clock benefits from my three year guarantee.
This clock really is a beautiful and gently imposing piece of furniture and delivery and set-up is available.
Clockwise specialises in longcase and bracket clocks and with clients from the world of business, film, sport, royalty and aristocracy - yet more than happy with traditional clients - Clockwise has an unrivalled reputation for excellence and superb service.
